Child Sex Abuse Claims: Statutes of Limitations & Revival

Legislatures have been making sweeping and dramatic changes to statutes of limitations for child sexual abuse. Some have eliminated them. Some have extended them. Some have changed or added new discovery tolling rules. Some have revived previously time-barred claims, either temporarily or permanently.  And more legislation is on the way. Cokato attorney Thomas James of the Law Office of Tom James in Minnesota unravels the complexities of these statutes, providing updated information about the current state of the law.

Course materials include a state-by-state summary  guide to applicable statutes of limitation, claim revival laws and discovery tolling rules, together with a compendium of the relevant statutory provisions.
